UNBUILT BUT

"unbuilt but" is a project that visualizes architectural works that were never built. It focuses on proposals that were unbuilt or hypothetical alternatives that could have existed within specific historical contexts. Using AI based image generation tools, the project transforms these architectural ideas into concrete visual representations. Rather than simply producing speculative images, the project constructs architecturally and contextually plausible visions, alternative architectural records of works that never existed but could have. Referencing real architects, movements, and urban contexts, unbuilt but explores new combinations and reconfigurations, presented through photographs, drawings, posters, and other visual formats. It begins with a simple question: must architecture be built to be meaningful? This project responds by treating unbuilt imagination as material for visual archive and architectural inquiry.
